Hotmetal jewellery is a different style of jewellery that is fun and eye catching. The designer and maker of Hotmetal is Jo Mitchell, who originally from the island of Guernsey but now based and works from Bath, UK. Jo designs and hand makes all of her designs using a variety of different materials; sterling silver, brass, copper, aluminium and glass. The majority of designs are pendants, necklaces and earrings. All of Jo’s designs are fun and interesting; she uses bright colours and interesting designs to really catch your eye.
Currently there are about 20 different ranges that Jo has designed and handmade some of which have more designs within the collections which all come in a variety of colours; many of the designs include more than one colour, also some have other touches such a beading work to finish them off.
The designs include leaves, flowers, cones, swirly stars, asymmetric designs and many, many more.
Jo has even had her ‘Leaves’ collection featured in the Vogue magazine!
